If We Move Forward
Between Sessions
We'll start by talking about what brings you to therapy, what you're hoping for, and whether we're a good fit. No pressure or commitment.
You'll complete a brief intake form and we'll schedule your first full session. In our early sessions we'll explore what's bringing you in, what you've tried before, and what you're hoping will be different. From there we build a plan together on how to get to your goal.
Therapy isn't just what happens in our 50 minutes together. I might invite you to notice patterns, try small experiments, or reflect on what we've discussed between sessions. I believe that you are an active participant in your own growth, and things will not change until you take action.
Individual Therapy for Adults (18+)
50-minute sessions | Weekly/ bimonthly/monthly | Online in English or Hindi | $1,200 MXN per session
What if anxiety isn't the problem — it's something you haven't yet learned to work with?
Anxiety is exhausting. The constant hum of worry. The way your brain replays conversations. The physical tightness before things that should be fine. And if you're also navigating a new country, a career or identity still taking shape, or the particular loneliness of not quite belonging anywhere — anxiety has a lot of material to work with.
Here's what I won't promise: that it goes away. Anxiety is a human experience, not a malfunction. What we can do is change your relationship with it — so it stops calling all the shots and you can start moving toward what actually matters to you.
I work with adults navigating:
- Anxiety, stress and overthinking
- Life transitions (moving countries, career changes, becoming a parent, losing someone)
- Identity and belonging (gender, sexuality, cultural identity, self-worth, values)
- Grief and loss, including migration grief and losses that don't always get acknowledged
- Living between worlds (expat adjustment, immigrant identity, third-culture experience)
- Parenting across cultures
- General wellbeing and building a life that feels aligned with what matters to you
Individual Therapy for Teens (13–17)
50-minute sessions | Weekly/bimonthly | Online in English or Hindi | Parental consent required| $1,200 MXN per session
Being a teenager is hard.
Teens come to therapy for a lot of reasons — anxiety, identity questions, social stress, family dynamics, the pressure of figuring out who you are while it feels like everyone around you already knows. Whatever's going on, I'm not here to tell you what to do. I'm here to actually listen, take you seriously, and help you develop tools for navigating your own life (on your terms).
Your sessions are yours. I won't report everything back to your parents. I'll be upfront with you about the only situations where I would break confidentiality — and those are safety situations, not "your parents won't like this" situations.
Teens come to me for:
- Anxiety, stress, and constant overthinking
- Identity - figuring out who you are, including gender and sexuality
- Life transitions - new schools, new countries, family changes
- Peer relationships and social dynamics
- Body image
- Growing up between cultures
- Family communication and conflict
- Just wanting a space that's actually yours
For parents
I'll check in with you periodically about general progress without sharing exact session content. I'll involve you when it genuinely helps your teen, and I'll be transparent with your teen about when and why I'd ever loop you in. The goal is to support your child — which works better when there is trust and everyone understands how this works from the start.
Couples Therapy and Premarital Counseling (18+)
80-minute sessions | Weekly or biweekly | Online in English and/or Hindi | 1,800 MXN per session
Not every couple comes to therapy because something is broken.
Some come because they want to build something solid before the cracks appear. Some come because they love each other and keep hitting the same wall and want actual tools, not just goodwill. Some come because they're navigating genuinely different backgrounds — different cultures, different languages, different families — and want help bridging that gap intentionally.
I work best with couples who are on the same team and both want support to improve their relationship. I'm not the right fit for high-conflict situations, acute crisis, or relationships where safety is a concern.
This is for couples who:
- Are preparing for marriage or a major life transition and want tools and honest conversations before committing
- Come from different cultures or countries and want help creating a relationship where both individuals are heard
- Have noticed patterns (the conversation that always goes sideways, the thing you never quite say) and want to understand and change them
- Want a skills-based approach with something concrete to practice between sessions
I use a Gottman-informed approach (Level 1 trained) alongside ACT principles — looking at your specific patterns, building real communication skills, and doing work that has somewhere to go beyond the session.
Group Therapy (Coming Soon)
I'm planning to offer in-person and online therapy groups for specific populations. Groups provide a unique space to feel less alone, learn from others navigating similar challenges, build connection, and practice new skills.
Groups I'm considering:
Teen Mental Health Support (Ages 13–17)
For teens who have lived in multiple countries, attend international schools, or identify with more than one culture. This group will provide a space for teens to talk about anxiety, identity, school stress, and peer relationships. Led with compassion, humor, and zero judgment.
Young Adults in Mexico (Ages 20–29)
Designed for young adults navigating life in Mexico while managing career decisions, relationships, identity development, life transitions, and the uncertainty that often comes with adulthood.
Maternal Mental Health
Motherhood can bring joy, fulfillment, and love, but it can also bring stress, overwhelm, isolation, anxiety, and significant life changes. This group willoffer a compassionate space for mothers to connect with one another, process their experiences, and receive support during the many transitions that accompany motherhood.
Parenting Skills
Parenting comes with both joys and challenges, and many parents wish they had more tools to navigate difficult moments with confidence. This skills-based group is designed to help parents better understand child development, support emotional regulation, and respond effectively to common parenting challenges.
Bilingual & Multicultural Kids
For children growing up between languages, cultures, or countries. This group supports confidence, emotional awareness, social connection, and identity development through creative expression, games, and play-based activities.
Anticipated fee: approximately 800 MXN per person per 90-minute session.
My Therapeutic Approach
I operate from a core belief that you are the expert of your own experience. I value the insight, resilience, and lived wisdom you already carry, and I strive to create a collaborative, compassionate, and non-judgmental therapeutic space where you feel seen as a whole person — not just a set of symptoms or problems to fix.
My work is primarily grounded in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), an evidence-based approach that supports:
- Building psychological flexibility
- Learning to hold difficult thoughts and emotions without being defined by them
- Clarifying your values and moving toward a meaningful life
- Accepting what cannot be controlled while engaging fully with what can
I also integrate narrative therapy, strengths-based approaches, and creative interventions informed by my background in music therapy. My approach is holistic and trauma-informed, recognizing that our relationships, culture, identity, community, and the systems we live within all shape how we experience the world and ourselves.
I practice through an intersectional, socially aware, and systemic lens, honoring the complexity of each person’s lived experience while supporting growth, self-understanding, and meaningful change.
This may be a good fit if you are:
- Ready to be an active participant in your growth.
- Curious about patterns in your life.
- Willing to try new tools or ways of relating to your thoughts and feelings.
- Looking for a space that is compassionate, non-judgmental, and evidence-based.
Is This the Right Fit?
This may not be the right fit if you:
- Are in an acute crisis or require immediate psychiatric stabilization.
- Are looking for someone to tell you exactly what to do or fix you without your active engagement.
- Are seeking court-mandated therapy or specialized assessments for legal purposes.
- Are in a high-conflict relationship where safety is currently at risk (for couples).
