Frequent Asked Questions
You don't have to be in crisis to benefit from therapy. Many people come because they're feeling anxious, overwhelmed, stuck, or are navigating a major life transition. Others simply want a space to better understand themselves, improve their relationships, or build a life that's more aligned with their values.
If you're unsure whether therapy is right for you, I invite you to book a free 15-minute consultation. We can talk about what you're looking for and whether my approach feels like a good fit.
The consultation is an opportunity for us to briefly meet over video, discuss what brings you to therapy, and answer any questions you may have about the process.
There is no pressure or obligation to continue. If we decide we're a good fit, we'll schedule your first appointment. If not, I'm happy to suggest other resources if and when appropriate.
Our first session is focused on getting to know you. We'll explore what brings you to therapy, what's been happening in your life, what you've already tried, and what you'd like to be different.
There's no expectation that you'll tell me everything in one session. Therapy is a process, and we'll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
